I'm Andrew. I'm a dad, and I'm home with our daughter most days. Becoming a father showed me how much I had been running on autopilot: my training, my faith, my time, my attention at home.
Romans XII is the place I wanted for myself. A few men, a passage of scripture, a plan for the week and the plain truth about how it is going.
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”
Why Romans 12
The chapter asks for a whole life offered to God: body, mind and the people around us. It then gets practical about love, patience, prayer and doing good to everyone. That is the standard here. We fall short of it, and we keep going.
Faith
I'm Catholic. Men from every Christian tradition are welcome here, and we quote scripture in the King James Version because it is public domain and easy to share. We do not argue doctrine in the letter.
Dad Strength
Dad Strength is an app I built for myself to train and keep life organized as a new dad. It is a separate project. Romans XII is the community and the faith.
A hobby, honestly
This is a hobby. There is no course to buy and no pitch. If that changes, we will say so in the letter first.
