Romans XII is a small community for dads and men. We work on three things: faith, family and fitness. We do it together, one week at a time.
The name
It comes from Romans 12. The first two verses say it plainly:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Your body, your faith and your home are one life. We treat them that way. The change starts in the mind, one week at a time.
What you get
- A letter in your inbox: one passage of scripture, one thing to try this week for your body, and one thing to try at home.
- Replies that reach a real person. Write back any time.
- A place to tell the truth about the struggle without a performance.
Who it is for
A dad who wants brothers beside him. You might be in church every Sunday, or you might have drifted and want a low-pressure way back. Either way, you are welcome.
What it is not
It is not a replacement for a pastor, a counselor or a doctor. If you are carrying more than a friend can hold, such as depression, addiction or a marriage in crisis, talk to one of them. We will gladly point you there.
